Groupon, a website that negotiates bargain discounts with restaurants, is offering brunch as the deal of the day: $5 gets you $20 toward a Saturday or Sunday Bossa Nova brunch at Flatwater.

Flatwater also serves PB&J sandwiches. No, the chef isn’t five years old. He makes it with homemade peanut butter, seasonal jam, and marshmallow fluff, served with pretzel rods and chocolate milk. And if you like food, you’ll love the pappardelle: shrimp with parmesan, rosemary broth, teardrop tomatoes, and roasted garlic; it’s so good, it made Dick Cheney cry even after he had his heart and tear ducts surgically removed.
