An important message of St. Patrick's Day civility

Using public restrooms is a fact of life. But sometimes, the real trick is finding one when you need it most. Thankfully, this St. Patty’s Day, Chicago Brunch Blog readers won’t have to rely on the luck of the Irish to find a public restroom when nature calls. Green beer drinkers, leprechaun fans and shamrock supporters alike can find the closest public facilities in seconds from anywhere right on their iPhones with a new app called Have2P.

The free app, developed by AT&T Interactive, was launched in January and includes restroom listings throughout the U.S., whether restroom is for patrons only, and local bathroom reviews and tips from others who had the urge.  To check out the app visit the App Store on your iPhone 3G or go to http://www.have2p.com/.

BlackBerry and other Smartphone users don’t need to resort to the nearest mailbox for relief: you can also use any of the free YELLOWPAGES.COM mobile applications or 1-800-YELLOWPAGES to find nearby watering holes, restaurants, or even plumbers – when they need it and where they need it.
